Sylvia is one passionate massage therapist. Her clients adore her and always book in for another treatment because she is that good! Sylvia has a fantastic client rapport. Where do you come from/ where did you grow up?
I was born in Krakow, Poland, came to Sydney City in year 2000
What were your interests growing up?
In Poland winter sports were a big thing so I got involved in ice-skating. When I came to Sydney, Beach Volleyball and Basketball became my main interest. Since moving to Australia I've learnt to love the Australian environment, from the beaches to the bush I have always enjoyed being outdoors.
What got you into the health industry?
Working in a Doctors Surgery sparked my initial interest in the health industry 4 years ago. I love the satisfaction of making people feel good about themselves. I have a passion for helping people and a strong belief in alternative and natural therapies.
What do you try to achieve with your clients/patients?
Depending on my patients needs, I try to achieve total relaxation and muscular balance with my patients. I also treat sports people recovering from injuries helping them get back into the game quickly, as well as preventing injuries through regular maintenance massage.
What do you specialise in/ Focus on?
I specialise in Deep Remedial Treatment and Sports Massage Techniques aiming to relieve chronic pain, sports related injuries or minor aches and stiffness. My focus is always on the patient and their individual needs.
What makes you different from other practitioners in your field?
I love a good clinical challenge, no matter how menial or complex the task is. I'm a firm believer in lifelong learning and will always be seeking out new knowledge and current research.
